Birthday Fun for Carter & Trevor Field!

Hello again! The boys' birthday party was a big success considering the unusual last minute planning I did! The long anticipated dinosaur birthday cake came out cute...and it only took about 8 hours and 5 lbs of frosting! Just kidding! We are so greatful for all the family and friends who could celebrate with us. It is so hard to believe that Carter is 5 and Trevor is 2. The boys are so happy with their remote control cars which make a lot of noise.I cant say I am as excited as they are! They love the space ship and aliens and the big kid bikes too. It was a great day!

Good News for Trevor Joseph Field

Finally after months and months of seeking help for Trevor we received good news today! It looks like he will qualify for early intervention services! Marshall and I have been praying for this as we can not afford to pay $80 a session for regular therapy...God is good and hears our prayers.
Trevor is such a sweet boy. Every morning he finds my shoes or slippers for me and tries to help me put on my socks... :) I hardly ever have to correct him because usually he feels bad enough on his own and is quick to say sorry in his own way. He has such a good disposition and though we are a long way from it..I cant wait to hear what he actually has to say! Thanks to everyone who helped and prayed for this and prayed for Trevor.

welcome to 2010

2010- A new year! With Marshall graduating from college last year- this year should be pretty interesting and quite possibly full of change. Lets see...where to begin? As Marshall still works for Costco he also searches for any openings in law enforcement. Keep your fingers crossed people- he has an interview comming up in the next couple of months! He hopes to eventually join the FBI and really seems motivated. In the meantime he tries to fit in as much golf as posssible and recently got to play in Phoenix.

As for me...well I currently do a little caregiving for a sweet 11 yr. old boy named Zachary. He is funny and cute and keeps me guessing. I dont know how long I will get to care for him because he is allready almost my size... He has a little sister too who is about to turn one and I have been blessed to see her journey since the beginning. I have even cared for her a little too and I always say it is my "baby therapy time! " Their parents are very loving and kind and I have grown attached to them all. They are a great example of family to me and the faith and love they have really makes an impact on my life.

When I am not working I am being "mama" or "momit" - as my children so lovingly call me. I am able to stay at home with them most of the time and here, taking care of my family, is where I feel most joy. I work with Carter on school stuff and I am so proud of how hard he works. He is really into dinosaurs and the movie "up" right now. He asks lots of questions and if you want to know anything about "planet Earth" he is your guy! Trevor is our sensitive and silent golfer! He has a bit of a speech delay but is very smart and I am currently working on trying to line up some good therapy. You could not ask for a sweeter boy...or a more amazing golfer. I am currently trying to plan their bithdays....a five year old and a two year old to be...oh BOY! Where does the time go and more importantly...how am I going to make a dinosaur cake!?

Welcome!

I thought I would start a blog and give everyone a chance at seeing a day in the life of the Field family, after all I am not so great at keeping up with picture sending etc......so ladies and gents may I present the Field Family blog! Enjoy!
